Jacqueline Everitt : who designed all of the following works was with the company from it’s inception. Jacqueline has been deeply influential to the visual and conceptual development of Black Sequin Productions. Her aesthetic will remain as a profound influence on the work of Black Sequin Productions. Tragically Jacqueline is no longer with us as she passed away in 2006.
Jacqui designed sets and costumes for productions by Playbox, La Mama, Anthill, The Church Theatre, and M.T.C. Playbox productions include The Glass Mermaid and The Black Sequin Dress. For Chamber Made Opera she designed Improvement by Robert Ashley, The Heiress, Recital, The Cars That Ate Paris, Lacuna and costume for Medea and Sweet Death. She also designed Still Angela (for which she won the Green Room Design Award for 2002) , Call of the Wild and Remember by Jenny Kemp.
