Highlights:- 1996 Betty Pounder Award for Original Choreography for Descansos...resting places, 1996 Green Room Award for Direction (with Jenny Kemp and Trevor Patrick) for Descansos...resting places, 1994 ABC Radio National Fringe Award for Movement for Physical Business. Delirium (in collaboration with Jenny Kemp, Trevor Patrick, Ben Cobham, Livia Ruzic) won a special 1999 Green Room Award for Outstanding Creative Collaboration, received Green Room Nominations for Best Female and Male Performers and was short-listed for the Choreography Award at the 4th Australian Dance Awards. Premiered Melbourne (1999), touring New Moves (new territories) Festival, Glasgow (2000), Asian Next Wave, Tokyo (2000) and Adelaide Festival (2002) Awards:- Aust NZ Choreographic Course (1972/2000), an Australian Bicentennial Travel Scholarship (1988), residency at The Paris Studio (1994) – Cite International des Arts, an Artist in Residence appointment at the Dance Department UWS, Nepean (1995), a Fellowship from the Dance Fund, Australia Council (1997/98), Asialink Residency in Singapore with Theatreworks (2000). Currently Artistic Director at Dancehouse a Melbourne dance venue which provides resources and an array of programs to the dance sector (2003).
