Elizabeth Drake
Elizabeth was a member of the APG and is an award-winning composer and sound artist for theatre, film, dance and radio. Last at Playbox for Nightfall, her other theatre/performance credits include The Black Sequin Dress (Playbox/Adelaide Festival); Miles to Furphy (Astra/Seduction Opera); Actual and Imaginary Undergrounds (Australian Centre for Contemporary Art); In Heart of the Eye (Danceworks); Bloom (The Spoken Opera Company); Her Bodies (Gasworks); Call Of The Wild (Spoleto/Company B); and Failing in Love Again (Nimrod). Film credits include The Way Back; Lost; The Road to Nhill (AFI and Film Critics nominations for Best Original Music Score in a Feature Film); The Seal; The Land of the Long Weekend; Black Man's Houses; Breathing Underwater (Australian Guild of Screen Composers Award for Special Achievment in Sound); My Life Without Steve (AFI nomination for Best Sound in an Experimental Film) and the acclaimed Japanese Story (Winner of Best Score in the 2003 AFI and Film Critics Circle of Australia Awards).
